response to the speakers from Africa

I thought the speakers from Africa were really fascinating. I really didnt relize that english is the main langange in some of the countries. When the told me about how they gained there independence from Britain it was clear.

after hearing there stories about there first time being in America its funny how simlar our countries are. And how the media betrays Africa  as being all helpless and riding on elephants wearing cloths. when all along they cities just like us its sad but true. The one thing that i admired about them is they so a true sense of pride in where they come from.
